Luca Persiani
Luca loved, dreamed, travelled.
“Live in the now” was his motto, that is, live the present with all the heart you have. He was like that, he lived at 100 mph and not because he was a racing driver but for the simple reason that for him life had to be lived to the full, without leaving room for boredom, sadness or melancholy. He was a boy with a thousand passions that he would never give up. He loved sport, music, nature and loved his job.
His adventures were exciting and it was engaging to listen to his travel and life stories. With him everything became an adventure and his smile was contagious. In short, knowing him was truly an honor and remembering him is a duty because his free and joyful spirit will live forever.
After a brilliant career as a racing driver, in the last years of his life Luca continued to dedicate himself to the world of four wheels with great dedication, even and especially when his career as a coach began. Charisma to spare, his smile and his engaging passion have allowed him to help many young automotive talents, on the launch pad, to definitively believe in themselves. He defined himself as a "driver performance analyst", a role he carried out with dedication, passion and such professionalism that he became one of the best in this field. Since 2020 he was also part of the federal instructors for ACI SPORT.
Unfortunately Luca left us on August 19, 2024 at just 40 years old in a fatal accident while he was driving his jeep in his favorite place. We like to think that his soul remained there, in his magical place and that he looks at us from there and rejoices with us.
