Associazione Luca Persiani
Our mission
The association was created to remember Luca, by the will of his parents and a group of friends and family who were very close to him.
The principles that inspired us embody the essence of Luca, his way of life, his passions and his values.
This is how we like to remember Luca, through the promotion and organization not only of cultural and volunteer activities but also through participation in sporting events and in particular in the field of motoring, karting, mountaineering, trekking, cycling, surfing... In short, in all those disciplines that have always been his great passion.
The association aims to promote culture in general, promoting human growth through educational, productive, aggregative and sporting activities in the fields of culture, training, communication, sport and art in general.
All this in the name of a smile and a great desire to live as Luca taught us and we like to think that above all it is him, Luca, who we remember, who from Angel guides us and helps us realize our dreams.

Who was Luca Persiani?
Luca Persiani was a motor racing driver and then a coach to young drivers: he called himself a “driver performance analyst” and from 2020 he was an ACI Sport federal instructor. He loved sport, music, nature and travel, and his motto was “Live in the now”. He left us on 19 August 2024, aged 40. His story is on the Biography page.
What does the Associazione Luca Persiani APS do?
The Associazione Luca Persiani APS promotes culture, volunteering, sport and art in memory of Luca. Together with the Circuito Internazionale di Aprilia it organises the go-kart race Io con Luca, it takes part in sporting events in the disciplines Luca loved, such as Tutti in bici in Ciampino, and with donations it supports a music project in a youth detention institute in Rome. How do I make a donation to the association?
You can donate online with SumUp, using the “Dona ora” button in the Donations section of the website's home page. Thanks to donations, the music project dedicated to Luca was born: every week professional music teachers meet the young people of a youth detention institute in Rome, with lessons and listening sessions, in a space set up with musical instruments.
